Rediscovering Ancient Energy for the Modern World
Vision – Re-energize the planet with natural, free, unlimited, and sustainable forms of energy through independent research
Mission – Conduct scientific research with natural energy sources such as solar, static electricity, and cold fusion with innovative experimentation.
Welcome to Ancient Energy Research Center, where we’re working to rediscover how ancient forms of energy can benefit the modern world. It’s our goal to push through barriers of mis-perception and misunderstanding to discover the true history of Earth, her ancient civilizations and lost technologies. If rediscovered, this reclaimed wisdom could change life on our precious planet. This is a tall order and will require a team effort as one person working alone cannot possibly accumulate enough information. The task is like the Buddhist tale of six blind men trying to describe an elephant. One holds the tail, another holds the trunk, and yet another grasps a tusk. Each truthfully describes the part of the elephant they touch, but none of them can perceive the whole creature.
James Ernest Brown is the Executive Director of the Ancient Energy Research Center. His journey began in 1977 with an epiphany regarding the nature of pyramids and a resulting relentless desire to comprehend the true purpose of the Great Pyramid of Giza. Being a professional builder and designer, he further developed a passion to decode the purposefully designed monuments of ancient Egypt. He has traveled to Egypt multiple times since the 1970s, gathering evidence and data to support his alternative theories and ongoing research. To date, his research has been self-financed, but his research center is looking for collaborators and funding for projects. Among other projects, Brown plans to build a scale model replica of the Great Pyramid, using pyramid geometry, modern materials, and updated methods, to demonstrate that the Great Pyramid’s main purpose was to electrify water.
Brown has worked as a commercial contractor and builder for five decades. His family-owned construction company has built 2,300 homes, commercial buildings, and multi-family dwellings, winning five national awards for energy efficiency in cold weather climates. He describes himself as a practical thinker, and believes that the logic and results of his research need to make practical sense. His perspectives on design and construction led him to question the simplistic assertion that pyramids were built as tombs. A well-known axiom in building is “form follows function.” Brown believes it would have been impossible to get the deceased pharaoh and funerary objects inside after the structure was built. In addition, there have been more than 125 pyramids discovered in Egypt so far, and an original burial has never been found.
James Brown believes the logic and results of his research need to make practical sense. His perspectives on design and construction led him to question the simplistic assertion that pyramids were built as tombs. A well-known axiom in building is “form follows function.” Brown hypothesizes that ancient Egyptian pharaohs understood natural forms of energy, such as static electricity and electrical currents. He believes they were manipulating atomic structure with electrified human sperm, using it as an igniting catalyst to transmute elements as part of their royal duties. Brown asserts that temple carvings and artifacts reveal that the ancient Egyptians could generate electricity and electrify specific parts of the human body.
The abundance of gold didn’t represent wealth but was used instead to facilitate remarkable uses of natural forms of energy. Gold would have been the metal of choice since it is the best electrical conductor. Brown has concluded that what have been misinterpreted as ceremonies were in fact visual instructions for stimulating electrical and energetic pathways throughout the body and brain of the living pharaoh. This radical re-interpretation of ancient Egyptian pyramids is the second in a series of three volumes.
These books are the result of more than thirty-five years of original research and evidence gathered from grassroots research expeditions to Giza, Luxor, Saqqara, Abydos and Abu Simbel. This ongoing research presents compelling evidence that many traditional interpretations of ancient Egyptian monuments, artifacts, and temple and tomb art, need to be reconsidered and re-evaluated. Brown states that “Our eyes are the tools for critical interpretation and the scientific and technological implications for free energy are enormous.”

Summary of ongoing research and evidence-based hypotheses:
Great Pyramid of Giza was a type of closed-cycle chemical laser designed to electrify water
Ancient Egyptians manipulated atomic structure using natural forms of electrical energy, gravity, and magnetic force fields
Sarcophagus in the King’s Chamber of the Great Pyramid was a vessel for volatile chemical reactions
Step Pyramid of Saqqara was a saltwater, gas generator that was powered by telluric currents
Egyptian temple pillars inject piezoelectric effects into the Nile River and sacred lakes adjoining temples
Amphorae containers served as stabilized containers for electrically charged water—Earth Milk
So-called “underground residences of pharaohs,” that were built along the banks of the Nile, fit the profile of earth batteries that were powered by telluric currents.
Construct a working model of the Great Pyramid as a chemical laser that would be 1/16th size. Brown’s property has year round running water, which would substitute for the Nile.
New space age materials that are not metallic, such as special compounds of liquid concrete, would be used to create the shafts. Water does not go uphill naturally. If moving is forced to go uphill directly north it becomes further magnetized by Earth’s telluric currents.
Physical anatomy of the Pyramid is the essential factor. The Ascending Passage of the Great Pyramid is more than one hundred feet in length. About every thirty feet there is a stone “girdle.” There are three of these stone shapes that retain the shape of the passageway and keep it from expanding under extreme pressure. With new technology the electric potential in water can be measured immediately. Adjustments can be made to increase the electrical potential and observe the changes. Document and record with daily stills and afterward produce a professional documentary or the history of the project.
In my book Fire in Middle, I made the case that the primary function of the Great Pyramid was to electrify water that entered the pyramid from the nearby Nile River. The technology of the time required the operation to be conducted on a large scale. With new or modern technology that utilizes thermal heating systems and hydraulic presses the scale of structures can be dramatically reduced. It is the pyramid shape that is crucial as it attracts the earth’s magnetic field. Access to water combined with an interface of granite plugs imparted the piezoelectric effect into the water.
Study the influence and effects of harmonics and vibration, light or sound
Create a full-scale Earth battery – I intend to construct an earth battery that would be dug about six feet deep into the ground. The battery would likely be 24 x 16 feet on the sides and built as a replica to the exact specifications of this battery of King Percebius near Abydos, Egypt. I will document the entire construction, including photographs of the process. The ground plan will follow the exact layout of the original. Egypt has what I believe are earth batteries that are as big as a house.
The arrangement of the cells is similar in design to a salt water earth battery. Monitor the flow of electricity and measure its potential. This experiment would be conducted within a specific time frame. Construction would require about three weeks. Observation would occur over two or three months and be tied to the lunar cycles.
An elementary school experiment showed an LED bulb that became illuminated when a stream of water was divided. The bulb was between the two streams of water and would periodically go on and off when it was affected by the electricity in the moving water.
